Mike Anderson joined CMG in 2015 as the Director of Consumer Insights and Analytics, and is known for helping business leaders notice, understand and take advantage of industry and consumer trends. He is a constant student of market research and consumer behavior, and prides himself on helping companies turn that information into actionable knowledge. In his current role as director of sales enablement, he serves the sales and marketing teams throughout Cox Media Group—and of course—their advertising clients. From large conferences to one-on-one conversations, Mike has helped hundreds of business owners, managers and marketers simplify their approach to advertising, and make it more relevant, compelling and effective.
Prior to joining CMG, Mike spent 13 years as director and VP of Consumer Insights at The Center for Sales Strategy, serving media and marketing clients across the U.S. and Canada. In that role, he helped media and marketing professionals improve their command of marketing strategy, sales process and presentation skills. He both attended and taught at the University of North Dakota (broadcast production), and has served on advisory boards for New York-based Scarborough Research and the Radio Advertising Bureau.
Mike and his wife, Julie, celebrate three adult children and seven grandkids. When they're not at home in Jacksonville, Florida, you might find them at a cabin in the woods in extreme Northwest Wisconsin.
